Instead of posting my usual wedding tip, I have a fun Halloween engagement photography session to share with you. I was so excited when this couple came to me for engagement photos. First off, it’s an offbeat engagement shoot. As a Houston engagement photographer, I always have the most fun coming up with creative ideas for my offbeat bride & grooms. Second, its freakin’ Halloween!
We met at the Glenwood Cemetery in Houston, which has been around since the 1800’s. If you ever have some time and want to take a stroll but don’t really know where to go, try Glenwood. There are some incredible (ancient) sculptures, crypts and other things carved from gannet peppering the quasi-rolling hills of Glenwood.
There was something about this homage to a father and his beloved daughter that really stood out to us. I loved the “Beloved Immortals” text the angel seems to be pointing to. The sun was just starting to fall below the horizon and really set a romantic mood.
