At the end of September, I had the pleasure of meeting Bob & Dennis and capturing their beautiful wedding day. Here’s what they had to say about their love for each other.
“We both grew up believing that getting married would never be an option for either of us. We are happy and excited that we now can, and that we can share this special day with our families and friends.”
How did you meet?
The old fashioned way… on Match.com ; )
Who proposed and how?
We had talked about getting married for a long time and had been looking at wedding rings. We found a design that we really loved but learned that it was no longer being made. Knowing this, Dennis bought some inexpensive rings and proposed on Christmas Eve. What he didn’t know was that I did some research, found the rings we liked and planned a surprise proposal for New Year’s Eve. Dennis asking me to marry him caught me off guard, and because I was already planning to propose I didn’t answer him when he asked. Once I saw how upset he was I showed him the rings and told him to forget that I didn’t answer so I could go on with my plan of proposing on New Years Eve at midnight…and on New Year’s Eve Dennis said yes!
